  3. @Greggo - We had a two hour delay that day so I snapped a few photos before leaving for work.

@Lee - Hope you have a Happy New Year, too.

@Donna - Last year, we hardly had any snow and it was dry dry dry so any snow that we get is a blessing this year!

  6. @Giga - I wish you a blessed New Year. Great to have you as one of my blogging buddies!

@Tatyana - The snow has already melted in my front yard. Last year it was so dry many of my plants didn't come back so I feel fortunate this year. Thanks for stopping by!

  8. How nice to have a white Christmas! It looks beautiful there. This year I am in Georgia for Christmas, so our holiday was more of the brown variety.
I hope you and your family had a wonderful Christmas, and that you have a great New Year's!

  13. @Holley - Thanks so much for being one of my blogging buddies this year. I've met so many great people and count you as one of them.

@Indie - Hope you're enjoying the relative warmth of Georgia. Hope the New Year is filled with lots of joy!

@Sissy - I'm already visualizing a prettier garden next year. I bet the ground is plenty thirsty.

  14. @Mimi - Daniela, thank you for all of your warm wishes. It's been a pleasure to see Bratislava through your eyes. It's like taking a mini-vacation every time I go to your blog. Can't wait to see what next year brings for you!

@charlie b. - Hope you have a wonderful New Year and are staying out of the cold Michigan air.

@Patricia - I've been enjoying the pretty white stuff, but not the cold winter nights. Hope it warms up for you soon!

  15. We are snowless right now. I am sad because I like to get out in the landscape with my camera too. Your garden looks pretty in the snow and these are very lovely images. The whites and tans look so wonderful together. Like you, my patio furniture has not made it in as of yet.

  20. Gorgeous photos, GirlSprout--and OMG, what an amazing tree!

We were in kind of the "black hole" here in ABQ and didn't get much snow at all, alas.
